Europa on Alma scores for Walkability
When considering moving to a retirement apartment, you might be wondering how easy it is to get your daily errands done. At Europa on Alma, our fabulous St Kilda location means that you can walk just about everywhere.
We’ve earned a Walk Score of 93, also known as ‘Walker’s Paradise’. Walk Score explains that this means a car isn’t necessary for daily errands. It’s a short, easy walk to nearby Carlisle and Acland Street supermarkets, retail and cafes; and to Fitzroy Street destination dining, cafes and medical. Alma Park is just up the road and Albert Park Lake, the Esplanade and the beach are all within walking distance, too.
For those times when you do need transport you have access to the residents’ exclusive shared Tesla electric vehicle, or there are great public transport options close by which have earned Europa on Alma a Transit Score of 87. It’s a two minute walk to the St Kilda road tram stop, for trams that will take you to the city or bayside. There are plenty more public transport options too, all less than 10 minutes’ walk away.
