Bolton Clarke, supporting you in your retirement

When you retire at Europa on Alma, you have the reassurance and peace of mind of being supported by Bolton Clarke, a not-for-profit organisation with a combined 200-year heritage, as the Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) in Victoria and RSL Care in Queensland.

We’re one of Australia’s most experienced and trusted service providers of retirement living and at-home support. Indeed, Europa on Alma sits where the RDNS had its head office for over 20 years.

We have become one of the country’s largest not-for-profit senior independent living and care service organisations. With St Kilda being integral to our history, our aim remains true: to deliver a meaningful and important retirement community within the wider community.

Bolton Clarke At Home support

The aim of Bolton Clarke At Home Support is to keep you living independently, so you can continue to enjoy the things you like to do – while living in the place you most want to be: your own home. Should you require assistance, we offer a wide range of services including home assistance, personal care, nursing services, transport and social activities.

When you live at Europa on Alma, you’ll have quick, easy access to these services via the onsite support office on the ground floor. There is a wealth of information about what’s available; our staff can take you through all the options. We can also help you understand the funding options available.

Innovative inclusions that make life easier

At Europa on Alma, technology plays a key role in keeping residents connected to family, friends and the community. A simple to use Lumin communications hub is installed in every retirement apartment and gives access to community and apartment-to-apartment messaging, entertainment, phone and video calls, games and wellness services.

Bolton Clarke’s digital independence product known as In Touch is another innovation. The In Touch home alert system allows residents to remain connected via the personal help alarm, motion sensors, voice activated alarms, fall detection pendants and wristbands with smartphone integration and access via a mobile app.

Cutting-edge technology in the form of a Tesla vehicle is available to all residents to use for a small hourly or daily fee. This shared electric vehicle is in a class of its own and is part of Europa on Alma’s commitment to sustainability. This philosophy is also evident with electric vehicle chargers installed in the basement car park.

The builder engaged to construct Europa on Alma is Melbourne based APM Group. This highly awarded builder has more than 30 years’ experience in the Victorian construction industry. APM Group was Master Builder of the Year in 2013, and the Excellence in Construction of Commercial Buildings $20M-$30M winner in 2013.

By engaging a highly awarded, quality builder for the construction of Europa on Alma, we can be assured of delivering on the pursuit of excellence across every element of our retirement development.
