Being located in St Kilda, Europa on Alma is a retirement community that appreciates coffee culture. That’s why we’re excited about new café Pini & Co opening onsite. It is a general store style café and European inspired deli, serving breakfasts and lunches, ready-made, take home meals and of course, great barista coffee. Come and experience Pini & Co for yourself, open daily from 7.30am. Enter via Alma Road or move into our fabulous retirement community and enjoy residents’ only access via the lobby.

Getting together with family and friends is high on the agenda of Europa on Alma residents. And our new café, Pini & Co is the perfect place to do it. Residents are savouring the locally roasted Melbourne coffee, delicious teas, tasty seasonal breakfasts and gourmet lunches, served all day. Freshly baked goods, whether sweet or savoury, are going down a treat, too. What residents are really loving is the convenience of the fresh, ready to eat meals and pasta sauces, pantry items, cheeses, condiments and seasonal vegetables that are available. They can just pop down to Pini & Co whenever they need something. It makes life even easier at our fabulous retirement community!
Meet Pini & Co’s passionate head chef
Ryan Nguyen, head chef and owner of Pini & Co., brings a unique background and deep passion to his craft. Before diving into the culinary world, Ryan was a florist, which has undoubtedly influenced his artistic approach to plating and food presentation. He began his culinary journey in 2016, this includes a two-year stint at the esteemed Osteria Oggi, a two-hatted Italian restaurant in Adelaide. After co-owning a restaurant in Hobart for nearly three years, Ryan returned to Melbourne in March. His dedication to continuously improving his skills and learning new recipes reflects his commitment to offering guests the best culinary experience at Pini & Co.
